No More Teachers, No More Books

The last couple of weeks have been kind of glorious.  Why?  Simple.  NO SCHOOL.

Instead of having to go to class or do homework after I get off work (well, let's be honest...most of the time I procrastinate doing my homework and then worry about getting it done the day it's due),  I have the time to do WHATEVER I WANT.  I can sit and watch several episodes of a TV show on Netflix without that nagging feeling in the back of my mind telling me I should be focusing on more pressing matters.  I can stick a DVD in while I sit and crochet a blanket I've been wanting to make for the past 8 months.  I can read books for the pleasure of it rather than doing it because it is required.  I can invite friends over for craft nights or go out with a group to see a movie.

School starts up again on Tuesday.  Am I somewhat distraught that these couple of weeks of bliss are coming to an end?  Yes.  But I guess I have to look at the bright side.  After this quarter, I only have one more quarter to go and then I'll get my paralegal certificate in December!  And then I can find some other time-consuming, expensive, and sleep-depriving thing to complain about. :)
